Ever since Khabib Nurmagomedov put a 4 round beating on Conor McGregor back in 2018, the surly Irishman has campaigned hard for a rematch.

While of course McGregor wants to get back the loss he suffered at the hands of “the Eagle,” as well as get another crack at becoming lightweight champion, but whether or not he deserves it is the source of much debate.

Khabib dominated nearly the entire fight, even knocking McGregor to the canvas with surprising power behind his punch.  Regardless, “the Notorious” has resorted to getting the champs attention by any means necessary.wow

After their first bout, Khabib was adamant is stressing that his reasons for going insane and jumping into the crowd after McGregor’s team was because of the over the line comments made in the lead up to the fight.

“He talk about my family, my religion.  You don’t talk about these things.”  Khabib told reporters while apologizing for his own post fight actions.

Calling someone’s Muslim wife a towel, yea that is about as low as you can go.

Khabib wasn’t having any of it as he was quick to drag McGregor’s transgressions into the spotlight.

‘There will be blood’

Anyone who thought the beef was settled by the first fight is lying to themselves.  Both fighters made it pretty clear before the fight that this wasn’t a manufactured beef.  The hatred was as real as any in UFC history.

Khabib proved everything he needed to in the first fight, so taking a rematch does not really seem to be in his best interest.  Knowing this, McGregor is doing everything he can to bait him into another fight.

At this point though that fight might happen anywhere that these two cross paths.  Whether that be at a UFC event, or in any given hotel lobby or parking lot.

The possibilities of real violence outside of the octagon is becoming more and more real by the day between these two camps.
